TAB® Computer Systems has been committed to small business computer support and service since 1983. TAB® has built its reputation on quick responsive service to our clients and their computing needs. In order to maintain that level of service, we found that we could service our clients faster if we provided our own equipment. Beginning in 1992 we started providing our clients with high quality business workstations and file servers that are designed around the Intel processor.
According to Windows Magazine, the average time for a mail order company to resolve a computer problem is 6 days. That is far too long for most of our clients. TAB® Computer Systems, Inc. can service any IBM compatible computer system on the market today but we can only get parts for mail order or name brand systems as fast as they can send them. TAB® systems are not proprietary (or exclusive); and we have spare parts in stock so there is no lost time in starting your repairs.
Installation of new equipment is also more efficient and cost effective with our systems. Because our systems are under warranty, you will not incur any extra costs if there is a hardware problem while we install your new TAB® computer. If, on the other hand, we have a problem installing a mail order computer, all the time and effort needed to resolve a problem from that new computer would be billed to you. We would wait for the replacement part to be delivered from the computer vendor and then reschedule the installation after the part arrived.
The average number of mail order computers with a problem right out of the box is 22%. Nearly 1 in 4 mail order computers have a problem when you first turn it on. When our clients buy a workstation from a Texas company, and then contract with a company like us for service we can only move as fast as the supplier. Many of our clients have learned that saving a few hundred dollars on a PC from a mail order company usually costs 3 times as much when that PC has a problem.
