In-House Support Technician

We are currently seeking an In-House Support Technician to join our team of dedicated professionals. In this role, you will be working on building, troubleshooting, and imagining PCs. You will also be part of maintaining our inventory, including Shipping, Receiving, and RMAs.

Position Overview

As an In-House Support Technician, you will be responsible for:

  • Diagnosis and repair of incoming client hardware service requests
  • Building and preparing client orders for new workstations, laptops, and servers
  • Installation of core software related to remote system monitoring or hardware operation (e.g., ConnectWise Automate, SonicWall, Windows Server, and/or Windows 11, etc.)
  • Provide on-site technical support for Company employees
  • Receive and verify all client equipment requests against purchase orders
  • Maintainthe  accuracy and security of the computer component inventory storage
  • Process inventory stock orders and re-orders, applicable returns, and coordinate related shipments; assist in the processing of Company’s e-cycling requirements
  • Participate in department and other company staff meetings, as required
  • Foster a workplace environment consistent with the values and vision of the company
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • 2+ years of I/T support or technical service experience
  • Comfortable working with multiple forms of computer hardware technology
  • Prior experience with a Managed Services Provider (MSP) and/or ConnectWise knowledge preferred
  • Previous background in computer hardware purchasing or inventory operations preferred
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, oral and written
  • Intermediate or better skills with Excel, Word, and Outlook
  • Excellent time management and exceptional attention to detail
  • Ability to work both independently and as a team player, alongside a diverse workforce
Physical Requirements
  • Mobility to work in a standard office setting and to sit and stand for a period of time.
  • Vision to read printed materials and see a computer screen; and hearing and speech (English Language) to communicate in person and over the telephone.
  • Ability to lift and transport equipment weighing up to 30 pounds.
